What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on the hard drive of your computer or your mobile system when you visit a website on the Internet. The cookie is placed on your system by the website itself (“internal cookies”) or by partners of the website (“third-party cookies”). The cookie allows for the recognition of your system when you return to the website, thanks to a unique identification number, and helps to collect information about your surfing habits. Different types of cookie exist. In general we distinguish between cookies that are essential / strictly necessary for the functioning of the website and non-essential cookies (features, analytics, advertising or tracking).

Belgian law of 13 June 2005 relative to electronic communications contains provisions about cookies and their use on the Internet. Current legislation comes from a European directive (ePrivacy directive), which implies that cookie regulations differ between European countries. Klaro App SPRL is located in Belgium and therefore conforms to Belgian legislation where cookies are concerned.

Aim and utility of cookies

When surfing our Website and while using our Application, you expressly accept the use of cookies. We use cookies to improve your visit, to offer you an optimum user experience and to help us to understand our users. Nevertheless you are free to delete or limit cookies at any moment by modifying the settings of your browser (see “How to manage my cookies”).

The deactivation of cookies may have an influence on the functioning of the Website or the Application. Certain features may be limited or inaccessible. If you decide to deactivate cookies we cannot guarantee you a fluid and optimum visit.

Non-essential cookies

These cookies are not necessary for the correct functioning of our Website but they allow us to offer you an improved and personalised user experience.

Feature cookies

These cookies allow us to give you access to more features and to personalise your user experience. They may be installed by ourselves or by partners whose services we have added to our Website.

Analytical cookies

These cookies allow us to follow visits and traffic on our Website and Application in order to measure and improve performance. These cookies allow us to know which pages are the most or the least popular and to know the way in which visitors navigate the Website or use the Application.

We use our own cookies (“internal cookies”) but also cookies from commercial partners and targetted advertising services (“third-party cookies”). Below are listed cookies that may be installed on your system when you visit the Website or use the Application:
